Earlier, the makers of the film had released the first look of Ayushmann from this film last year. 'Doctor Ji' is Ayushmann Khurrana's third film with Junglee Pictures after the success of 'Bareilly Ki Barfi' and 'Badhaai Ho. Doctor Ji is an upcoming Bollywood drama film directed by Anubhuti Kashyap. At the same time, it is being produced by Junglee Pictures. Anubhuti is making her directorial debut through this film.
Actress Rakul Preet Singh will be seen in the lead role along with Ayushmann in the film. At the same time, Ayushmann will be seen in the role of Dr. Uday Gupta. Ayushmann and Rakul will be seen sharing screen space for the first time in this film. Apart from Ayushmann and Rakul, Shefali Shah will also be seen in the lead role in the film. On the work front, Ayushmann was last seen in Anubhav Sinha's Anek. Apart from this, he will also be seen in the film Action Hero.
