Darlings On Netflix: Alia's next film 'Darlings' will be released directly on OTT, Shahrukh's company's deal is final

Actress Alia Bhatt, who made her first film as a producer, 'Darlings', may not have removed the curtain from this secret, but the news is confirmed that its production company Red Chillies has signed the deal for this film with OTT Netflix. This is Alia's first film as a producer after separating from her father Mahesh Bhatt's family film production company Vishesh Films. Alia had signed an agreement with Shah Rukh Khan's company to make her company's film 'Darlings' and the distribution rights of the film remained with Red Chillies from the beginning.

The news of Alia's new film company 'Eternal Sunshine' starting and making a film with Shah Rukh Khan's company Red Chillies was first reported by 'Amar Ujala' on February 15 last year. The film 'Darlings' is the story of a middle-class family living in Mumbai. At the center of the story will be the mother running this family and Alia Bhatt is to play the character's daughter. Famous actress Shefali Shah is in the role of mother.

Jasmeet K Reen, who has previously written films like 'Force 2', 'Fanney Khan' and 'Pati Patni Aur Woh', has been given the responsibility of directing the film 'Darlings'. Jasmeet has also worked as an assistant director in some big films.

Shah Rukh Khan's company Red Chillies CEO Gaurav Verma, Shah Rukh Khan's wife Gauri Khan along with Alia Bhatt will also be partners in the film's profits. Alia Bhatt's long-running film 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' was released this year after the impact of the Corona transition period subsided. The film also achieved average success at the box office.

Before 'Gangubai Kathiawadi', Alia Bhatt's film 'Sadak 2' was also released directly on OTT, and its teaser, trailer to film was trolled a lot on digital media. The trailer of the film even made the record for the most disliked video on YouTube. The shooting of Alia's other film 'Brahmastra' has been completed and its editing work is also said to be completed till the first cut.
