The 12th Dadasaheb Phalke Award has been announced on Monday. Several films have been honored for their performance in this award ceremony. At the same time, Farhan Akhtar has been honored with the Best Actor Award for his performance in the film Toofan.

The actor played the role of a street boxer in the film, which was released in the year 2021. Directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, the film is produced by Farhan, Rakesh, and Ritesh Sidhwani himself. The film was released on Amazon Prime Video.
