Critics says: Ranbir is not happy with the ROY publicity

If the industry gossip is to be believed, the first look of ROY has not gone down well with Ranbir Kapoor.
A source of the movie reported “Roy is essentially an Arjun Rampal and Jacqueline Fernandez film but the way it is being projected giving Ranbir unwanted prominence in the posters is funny. In fact it is misleading. Ranbir has not spoken about the film which is a tell-tale sign.”
Ranbir is said to have taken up the project as the director Vikramjit Singh is his childhood friend. The actor chase not to respond on the issue.
A film source said the actor, “who has a short role in the film, is unhappy that the makers are promoting it as a regular RK-starrer. So much that he denied to attend the trailer launch though he was very much in town.
