Cobalt Blue Based Real Story On Netflix

The film is based on the year 2006 Marathi novel penned by author Sachin Kundalkar, who gives a visual performance of his own words in this delicately crafted movie. The film is directed by the author himself who adapted the story of his novel by the same name “Cobalt Blue” which is an invigorating, indie watch on Netflix in the middle of all its big-budget commercial films. It follows the tale of a family who recently moved to Kerala and decided to give the spare room of their new house on the rent. The new paying guest turns the course of this orthodox family upside down, liberating a cornucopia of emotions.

The novel runs into 2 parts, where each of the characters explains their chronicle of the footprints left behind this man. Tanay is devasted after he gets to know that his sister run away with this new stranger in their house and what follows is a crafty plot, where the story blends at their different perspectives of similar incidents. The color blue is a symbol of heartbreak and the eye-catching contrast between the two siblings in their love for the same man.
