Chunky Pandey is a well-known name in the Hindi film industry. He celebrates his birthday on 26 September every year. This time Chunky has turned 60. Chunky Pandey's real name is Suyash Sharad Pandey, but in the film world, people recognize him by the name of Chunky. He made his Bollywood debut in the year 1987. The name of this movie was 'Aag Hi Aag'. The producer of the film was Pahlaj Nihalani. Chunky's work was very much liked by the people in the film, due to which he got 'Sap Ki Duniya' with Sunny Deol Neelam. This film also proved to be a super hit at the box office.
After this, he appeared in superhit films like 'Khatron Ke Khiladi', 'Zeezee', 'Aankhen' and Tezaab. He also received the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Tezaab. However, during the 90s, his career graph gradually started going down. To overcome this difficult phase, he started working in Bangladeshi films, where his luck shone. Not right in Bollywood but he became the superstar of Bangladesh. As a lead actor in Bangladeshi cinema, he gave superhit films like 'Swami Keno Asami', 'Besh Korechi Prem Korechi', 'Meyera e Manush'.
After earning a name in another country, Chunky returned to Bollywood again in the year 2003. He appeared in a negative role in Ajay Devgan's starrer Qayamat. He then appeared in a comic role in the Housefull franchise. His last pasta character was well-liked by the people. Apart from films, he has also established his feet in the business. Chunky along with his wife runs a health food restaurant 'The Elbow Room' in Mumbai. Apart from this, he also has an event management company named Bollywood Electric.
