In April this year, Vicky completed the Y schedule for Lakshman's film. Produced by Maddock Films, Chhava also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, and Neil Bhoopalam. Ashutosh Rana will be seen playing the role of Sarsenapati Hambirrao Mohite in the film. Akshaye Khanna will play the role of Aurangzeb, while Divya will be seen in the role of Soyrabai. There is no information about Neil's character yet. A.R. Rahman has worked on the music of the film. The film is scheduled to release in theaters on December 6, 2024.
