Angelina Jolie's lawyer James Simon said in a conversation with the Daily Mail that the actress is feeling very relieved to have reached this stage of life. James Simon said, 'To be honest, Angelina is tired. More than 8 years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Brad Pitt.
She and the children left all the property she shared with the actor and since then she has been searching for peace with her family and has now reached the healing phase.' Angelina Jolie married Brad Pitt in the year 2014. Both were very happy with this marriage. While filing for divorce in the year 2016, Angelina accused Brad that while returning from Europe, he had beaten the actress in the private jet and also misbehaved with their children. Further in this battle, Jolie accused Brad in the year 2018 that he was not providing necessary and meaningful help to the children after separation. However, these allegations were termed false and baseless by the actor's lawyer.
In the year 2019, the court declared him legally single. After which both could pay taxes separately. In a conversation with Vogue magazine, the actress said that she had decided to divorce for the welfare of her children.
The fight of the ex-couple is still going on in this matter. The lawyer further told me about the divorce and that the divorce agreement had been finalized. However, there is still an issue between the ex-couple which has not been resolved and is related to Sato Miraval Vianyard in France. In this case, Brad has accused Angelina that she sold her stake in the winery to Stoli Group without his consent.
According to the news of Daily Mail, both of them have agreed to go to jury trial to resolve it, considering the seriousness of the matter. This simply means that even after the divorce, both of them will have to face each other in court. Let us tell you that this was Angelina Jolie's third marriage.
