Gangubai Kathiawadi

These days actress Alia Bhatt is quite happy about the overwhelming response her film Brahmastra is getting. Alia Bhatt's film Gangubai Kathiawadi, which entertained the audience through her films this year, also had to be a victim of a boycott. People were boycotting this film because of nepotism. Along with this, there was also a controversy regarding Gangubai's character in the film. However, amid controversy, the film collected 129.10 crores at the box office.

Bachchan Pandey

This year was also not special for actor Akshay Kumar, who is called Khiladi Kumar of Hindi cinema. Actor Akshay Kumar's film Bachchan Pandey, which had hit a hat-trick of flops this year, had to face a boycott. Angry people boycotted the film for misrepresenting the Pandey surname. The film, which was facing opposition, had to see its bad consequences, and even after lakhs of efforts, the film could only cross the 50 crore mark at the box office.

Emperor Prithviraj

Akshay Kumar's and Samrat Prithviraj also proved to be a flop at the box office. The actor's film also had to fall prey to the boycott trend on social media. The makers and actors of this film from Hindu organizations were accused of insulting Emperor Prithviraj. Along with this, he had also threatened not to let the film be released. However, the film was later released after changing its name. But made with a big budget of 200 crores, this film proved to be a flop with a collection of only 68.05 crores.

shamshera

Even though people are very fond of Ranbir Kapoor's recently released film Brahmastra. But his film Shamshera, which was released before this, had a very bad situation at the box office. It was hit by the film's boycott. Sanjay Dutt was in the role of Villain in the film and he used red vaccine on his forehead for this look, due to which people were very angry. People accused the makers of hurting religious sentiments. As a result, the film fell flat at the box office with a total collection of 42.48 crores.

Raksha Bandhan

Actor Akshay Kumar's film Raksha Bandhan, which was released last month, proved to be his third consecutive flop of this year. By the time of the release of this film, the boycott trend had gained a lot of momentum. In such a situation, the film had to face a lot of boycotts. The reason for its boycott became the old tweets of the film's writer Kanika Dhillon, due to which people started demanding its boycott. At the same time, talking about the performance of the film, it managed to do business of only 43.22 crores at the box office.

Lal Singh Chaddha

The film, which proved to be the biggest flop of this year, faced both the maximum boycott and the brunt. Due to his old statement given by Aamir Khan about India, people rejected his film outright. Made on a budget of 180 crores, it earned only 56.83 crores at the box office, and the film also became one of the biggest flops in Aamir's career.

Liger

South actor Vijay Deverakonda made his Bollywood debut this year with the film Liger. However, this film also suffered a lot of boycotts. Even before the release of the film, there was a demand to boycott it. In such a situation, it also could not do a good box office collection of the film. The film has done business of only 36 crores.

brahmastra

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra have recently hit the theaters. This film too has been facing a boycott for the past several years. Not only this, people are still protesting against it and demanding its boycott. Actually, due to Ranbir's small role in the film PK, people are accusing him of insulting the Hindu God. This is the reason why his film is being opposed. However, despite the protests, the film is performing well at the box office. The film has so far crossed the 300 crore mark worldwide.
