Talking about the boycott trend, Ekta said, “It is very strange that we are boycotting those who have given the best business. All the Khans of the industry (Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan), and especially Aamir Khan is a legends. We cannot boycott him. Aamir Khan can never be boycotted."

Difficulties increased after the release

However, Aamir Khan's troubles have increased since his knock in theatres. A Delhi-based lawyer has also filed a police complaint against Aamir Khan, Paramount Pictures (Producer), and several others in 'Lal Singh Chaddha' for allegedly 'insulting the Indian Army and hurting Hindu sentiments. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor, Mona Singh, and Naga Chaitanya in pivotal roles.

Lal Singh Chaddha was a big hit at the box office

Laal Singh Chaddha has performed disappointingly at the box office. The film could not cross the Rs 50 crore mark on its opening weekend. There has been a complete decline of 75 percent in the earnings of 'Lal Singh Chaddha' on Tuesday as compared to Monday, which is a very bad sign for the makers. The film collected around Rs 2.50 crore on Tuesday i.e. its sixth day.
