The dispute between the actors of Bollywood and South, which started with the debate of Ajay Devgan and Kichcha Sudeep, is not taking the name of less. When it seems that now only ashes are left in this fire, only then a spark comes from where does it come and the flames start rising again. Now South actor Siddharth has also taken a dig at Bollywood on this issue. The actor says that the South is made fun of in Bollywood films. He believes that non-Hindi actors are shown as cartoons in Hindi films.
Siddharth, who has been seen in films like Rang De Basanti, Chashme Baddoor, The House Next Door, and Striker, recently said during an interview with India Today – From the time of comedian Mehmood Ali till now, many actors have been seen in Hindi films in South India. Shown in a strange look to show off. These characters are completely different from reality, which were quite popular at that time, but now it seems strange to see them.
Siddharth further said- In a film, Mithun Chakraborty was shown selling coconut water as Krishnan Iyer, it seems quite strange. In those days, South actors in Hindi films were depicted as cartoons, as if they were just for laughs. Bollywood films have shown anything in the name of the South, but the people of the South do not speak like this.
The actor further said, 'In Bollywood films, the South actor was shown either selling coconut water or speaking broken Hindi. Which was used as a comedy scene, people also laugh a lot after seeing it. He said- If today I do something like this in the form of a Kannada or Kashmiri character, then memes will become on social media, and I will start being made fun of.
