The film 'Bhool Bhulaiya 2' has made a net collection of about Rs 23.50 crore at the box office on Sunday, according to the initial figures. According to the figures of ticket sales that have been received so far, the gross collection of the film has been around Rs 27 crore on Sunday. With the film's net collection reaching 23.50 crores, the film 'Bhool Bhulaiya 2' has set a new record for the year earning 55.95 crores on the first weekend. This is the highest-grossing in Hindi cinema on the first weekend of a film this year. The opening day of the film has also been the biggest opening of the year.

Gangubai surpasses Kathiawadi

The film 'Bhool Bhulaiya 2', which was released on May 20, earned Rs 14.11 crore on the first day. The film earned Rs 18.34 crore on Saturday. On Sunday, the film earned Rs 55.95 crore in its first weekend by adding Rs 23.50 crore as per the initial figures. Alia Bhatt's film 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' had the highest earning of Rs 39.12 crore on the first weekend of Hindi films released this year. After this, the number of Akshay Kumar's film 'Bachchan Pandey' comes with an earning of Rs 36.17 crore. The highest-grossing Hindi film of the year, Kashmir Files, earned Rs 27.15 crore on its first weekend.
