BR Chopra's 'Mahabharata' is iconic
Many more shows have been made on Mahabharata. But the magic that BR Chopra's Mahabharata showed, no other show made with the same name has been able to show that magic even after three decades. Mukesh Khanna often speaks his mind openly on social media. He recently vented his anger on Ekta Kapoor's 'Mahabharata'.
Vented his anger on Ekta Kapoor's Mahabharata
In a conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Mukesh Khanna expressed his views on the show 'Mahabharata'. He vented his anger on Ekta Kapoor's 'Mahabharata' and said, "Three-four people tried to make a serial on Mahabharata, which had big stars. But no one could come close to the original because they did not have Dr. Rahi Masoom Raza and Pandit Narendra Sharma (both writers of Mahabharata). They did not have that dedication. An attempt has been made to tamper with our scriptures.''
Draupadi was given a tattoo
Mukesh Khanna has made this sarcasm regarding 'Kahani Hamare Mahabharat Ki' released in 2008. The 'Shaktimaan' actor said, "The Pandavas were shown like models. The Pandavas were shown like models in bare-chest costumes. Arjun, Karna, and Bheem were tall, but that was not enough. Draupadi was given a tattoo.''
Let us tell you that stars like Mrinal Jain, Hitesh Tejwani, Ronit Roy, Anita Hassanandani, Uma Shankar, and Aryan Vaidya worked in this show. Anit Hassanandani played the role of Draupadi.
