In the review of the film, Umer claimed, 'Vijay is very dashing and his performance is outstanding. He has done wonders in every frame. The story and screenplay of the film are very engaging. The dialogues deserve applause. Nelson's direction is mediocre but he has shown that he can handle a film of this level as well. He has connected the dots very clearly in the plot of the story.

In his review, Umer said, "Overall, Beast is a paisa vasool action entertainer with style as well as enough twists and turns to keep the audience engaged. The extended weekend at the box office, scintillating action, beautiful local scenes, and stylish execution will be able to attract a huge audience to the theatres for this film.
