Akshay Kumar starrer 'Bachchan Pandey' doesn't seem to be doing anything special at the box office. The film, which was released this Friday, has registered a big drop on Tuesday after Monday. On one hand, Sajid Nadiadwala's film earned only Rs 3.30 crore on the fourth day. At the same time, instead of increasing the earnings of 'Bachchan Pandey' on its fifth day, it seems to be decreasing.

'Bachchan Pandey' has increased its total collection by only Rs 3 crore on Tuesday. That is, till now Akshay Kumar's film has earned Rs 43.52 crore. The film saw a huge drop in collections in the Gujarat/Saurashtra circuit on Saturday, but Bihar added a decent figure to the collections on Monday. Looking at the current trend, 'Bachchan Pandey' is expected to garner around Rs 47 crore at the box office on its first weekend. This action drama is facing stiff competition from 'The Kashmir Files'.

With 'Bachchan Pandey' not getting the expected response in theatres, Akshay Kumar is now turning his attention to his upcoming film 'Prithviraj'. According to the critics, this film can prove to be one of the biggest films of the actor's career. It is directed by Pinjar director Chandraprakash Dwivedi and will hit the big screens on June 3. Akshay also has films like Ram Setu, Raksha Bandhan, and Mission Cinderella in his kitty.
