Ayushmann Khurrana had kept silent for a long time on the film Anek, but now he has spoken openly about his character. During an interview, he said, 'For the first time the audience will see me in this avatar. I have played the role of a police officer before but the audience will see me in the role of an undercover cop for the first time. Ayushmann's character in the film Anek is named Joshua. He is smart and intelligent. He knows how to make his way through people. Joshua can defeat evil people not only with physical ability but also with his intelligence. Ayushmann told that he was very excited to play this character as he got a chance to do all that he could not do earlier in this film.
Anubhav Sinha is directing this film. Earlier, both have also worked together in Article 15. In Article 15 too, Ayushmann's role was that of a police officer. People liked this film very much. Now, this pair of actor-director is once again returning to the big screen through the film Anek. The film will hit the theaters on May 27.
