Avatar The Way Of Water Weekend 1: Avatar 2 earns 3600 crores in three days, continues to perform brilliantly in India

The Rs 2000 crore film 'Avatar the Way of Water' earned more than Rs 3600 crore worldwide in just three days. Without a care in the world, the magic that producer-director James Cameron has created is showing. The film has so far earned Rs 132.95 crore in India. In this also, after having the highest share of the English version, the theaters showing the Hindi version have been at number two in earning the most. The record for the highest opening weekend collection among Hollywood films released in the country is still held by the 2019 film 'Avengers Endgame'.

Was advised to stop 'Avatar'
When James Cameron made his first film 'Avatar' 13 years before the release of the film 'Avatar the Way of Water', some parts of it were shown to the people of the film world. The most advised James Cameron to stop this experiment there and said that all the money involved in it would be sunk and Cameron's career would be destroyed. However, those who saw future possibilities in it also encouraged Cameron. The film 'Avatar', released with this enthusiasm, made the record of the highest-grossing film in the history of cinema.

Now released 13 years after the first film, its sequel film 'Avatar the Way of Water' is also earning tremendously worldwide. According to the figures received till Sunday, the film has earned 434.50 million dollars worldwide i.e. about 3600 crores. India's share in this is about Rs 132.95 crore. The film collected around Rs 46.50 crore on Sunday as per the initial figures in India including all language versions.

The film 'Avatar The Way Of Water' took a grand opening in India with its release on 16th December. The film earned Rs 41 crore on the first day. The film earned Rs 45.45 crore on the second day and earned Rs 46.50 crore on Sunday. Almost half of the film's earnings came from its English versions. Among Indian languages, it was appreciated by the Hindi-speaking audience the most. The earnings of the Telugu and Tamil versions were less on Saturday as compared to Friday. The first-weekend net collection of the film was around Rs 132.95.
