Ahead of the release of Avatar: Way Of Water in cinemas across the world, James Cameron re-released the first part of the film and gave a wonderful gift to the fans. Makers released this film on 23 September i.e. National Cinema Day on more than 4000 screens. Even after 13 years of hitting the theatres, the film was a blockbuster at the box office. Yes, the earnings figures of this film directed by James Cameron are staggering.
According to the reports coming out, 'Avatar' has crossed the Rs 200 crore mark in three days. The film has earned Rs 244 crore at the worldwide box office. With this, the total box office collection of the film has gone up to Rs 50,730 crore. It is being said that in India, Avatar may do well at the box office in the coming week due to the success of National Cinema Day and the makers' decision to keep ticket prices low during the first 4 days of Navratri.
The second part of this intergalactic epic film by Hollywood director James Cameron is set to release in December. Recently, Twentieth Century Studios released a new poster of 'Avatar: The Way of Water reminding us that it is 80 days left for the film's release. The makers wrote, 'Avatar: The Way of Water is going to release in 80 days. In cinemas only from December 16.
After 'Avatar Part 1' became the highest-grossing first cinematic release of all time, it will be interesting to see what James Cameron returns with the story of Jake Sully and Netiri in 'Pandora'. Everyone has high hopes for the second part of this film. Now it has to be seen that after the tremendous response of the people to the trailer of the film and after so much buzz, how amazing it can show at the ticket window.
