At the same time, Athiya Shetty's father and actor Suniel Shetty had also reacted to these rumors of marriage. When asked about the wedding preparations, the actor said, "No, nothing has been planned as of now." Earlier in May, Athiya's brother actor Ahan Shetty spoke about the marriage rumors. Talking to a website, he had said that "As far as marriage is concerned, no arrangements are being made. There is no such ceremony, these are all rumors. How can we give you a date when there is no marriage?”
Significantly, Athiya and Rahul made their relationship official last year when Rahul wished the actress Athiya on her birthday and posted a special picture of himself on social media.
