Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan and his son and actor Abhishek Bachchan met Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari today. Meanwhile, Nitin Gadkari has sought Big B's support to support the National Road Safety Mission in India. According to the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, about 80 thousand people die in road accidents every year in India itself, which is 13 percent of the total deaths in the whole world.

Most road accident cases are due to negligence or lack of road safety awareness, which is why road safety education is as important as other necessities of living. The objective of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways is to provide road safety information to the people to reduce the number of people killed and injured on the roads every year.

Amitabh Bachchan has been associated with social issues for many years, including the Pulse Polio campaign, the education of the girl child, and the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Apart from this, Amitabh Bachchan is busy shooting for the reality show KBC to be aired on Sony TV these days.

Apart from this, he is going to be seen in Amitabh Bachchan's film Brahmastra: Part One Shiva. Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are going to be seen in the lead roles along with Amitabh Bachchan in this film. The film is set to release in theaters on 9 September. After Brahmastra, Amitabh Bachchan will soon be seen in Vikas Bahl's film Good Bye along with Rashmika Mandanna, Neena Gupta, and Pavel Gulati.
