Comedy films have been making the audience tickle since the era of black and white films. There have been many such films including Half Ticket, Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi, Golmaal, Chupke Chupke, Chhoti Si Baat, Chashme Baddoor, Angoor, Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron, Jasmine Ki Shaadi, Hero No 1, Dulhe Raja, Coolie No 1. One of the nine rasas of acting, the nature of comedy has been changing on-screen. Now, this genre is being mixed with other genres. Now horror-comedy, romantic comedy, action-comedy, and social comedy are making films in all such genres. Recently, only such films are being made in pure comedy films like Circus, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan Ekka Dukkah. While released in the public interest, there will be many films like Double XL, and Nayika, which will take glimpses of other genres along with comedy. The story explores aspects such as the lack of pure comedy films, the mix of comedy with other genres, and the mood of the audience towards these films.

comedy has no boundaries

Anees Bazmee, who has directed pure comedy films like No Entry, Singh is Kinng, Welcome, this time has brought horror comedy film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. He says that I am comfortable making comedy. Makers can't stick to just one genre. The juxtaposition of comedy goes well with the horror and romantic genre. Mixing two-three genres are not wrong. The scope of comedy cannot be fixed, try should be that the humor you are doing should not hurt anyone's sentiments. You cannot draw a line by putting a guard on it that comedy films should be made in such away.

Introspection continues for pure comedy

Pure comedy films are rarely being made these days. Talking about the reasons for this, director and director Rumi Jaffrey, who has written pure comedy films like Hero No 1, Biwi No 1, and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, says that it takes seriousness to write a comedy. Many people make a comedy film thinking that it is easy, in that affair it becomes something else.

The story of the film is set in Kamathipura, other directors or writers might have shown vulgarity or abuse in it, but Sanjay Leela Bhansali did not. This can be done with any genre. I have a friend, who is a big director, some of his films did not work, so he got tense. He told me that his friends have given the opinion that films are not doing well, so make a comedy film. I told them not to build until you have faith. Two-three films being flops does not mean that you are a bad director.

Easy to say anything with humor

Dream Girl will be released by director Raaj Shaandilyaa's upcoming film Janhit Mein, which is a social comedy film. The film is about controlling the increasing population, in which the important role of condoms will be mentioned. Raj has produced this film. He says about mixing the two genres, he says that if you go to a party, you first get a starter for the meal, then there is the cocktail, then the main course, then the sweet.
