During the stampede at Sandhya Theater, a woman named Revathi died while her son was badly injured. Now finally Allu Arjun went to the hospital and met the child.
The child's health improved.
Amid tight security, Allu reached KIMS Hospital in Hyderabad to meet eight-year-old boy Sri Teja. The stampede incident is on December 4, 2024. There was no response in the health of the injured child for 20 days but now there are signs of gradual improvement in his health.
The plan made earlier was canceled
Allu Arjun reached the hospital with his team. Where he was seen wearing a green sweater and black pants. During this, Telangana State Film Development Corporation Chairman Dil Raju was also present with him. Given the actor's popularity, security was beefed up at the hospital to manage public order. Allu was earlier scheduled to visit the hospital on January 5 but then postponed it on the advice of the police. He then planned to visit again on January 7.
Allu Arjun expressed deep concern for Sri Teja and his family. The actor had earlier expressed his eagerness to meet the boy but had to postpone his decision due to the ongoing legal proceedings. The actor also spoke of wishing the child a speedy recovery and supporting the family.
What was the whole matter?
A woman named Revathi, who was Sri Teja's mother, died in the stampede at Sandhya Theatre. A huge crowd of fans had gathered at the theatre to get a glimpse of Allu Arjun. Many others were injured in the chaos that ensued. After this incident, a case was registered against the actor, his security team, and the theatre management.
Arjun was arrested on December 13, 2024, under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (BNS). He was then granted interim bail by the Telangana High Court the next day. He also got regular bail on January 3, 2025.
