Baazi

Aamir Khan's film Baazi, which came in the year 1995, was the first flop film of the actor's life. Aamir failed to win the hearts of the audience with his action thriller film. Actress Mamta Kulkarni was seen with Aamir in this film made with a budget of 32.5 crores. The film proved to be a flop with a total collection of 5.09 crores.

Aatank Hi Aatank

The film Terror Hi Terror tasted failure for Aamir Khan for the second time in the same year. Released in 1995, it was inspired by The Godfather. But the film could not do anything special at the box office. Despite the star cast like Rajinikanth, Juhi Chawla, and Aamir Khan, the film fell flat at the box office. Made with a budget of 2.5 crores, this film did a total business of only 2.55 crores.

1947 (meaning)

The film 1947 (Earth) was an Indo-Canadian period romance drama directed by Deepa Mehta. The film was also sent to India for the 1999 Academy Award for Best Foreign Language. However, the film proved to be a flop at the box office. This film, which came in 1999, made a lifetime collection of 3.80 crores.

Mela

Talking about the flop films of actor Aamir Khan, the name of the film Mela, which came in the year 2000, comes to everyone's mind. Twinkle Khanna and Faisal Khan (Aamir's brother) were also seen in this film with Aamir. However, their pairing was not much liked by the audience. This was the reason that the film, made with a budget of about 18 crores, did a box office business of only 15.19 crores.

Mangal Pandey - The Rising

The film Mangal Pandey - The Rising, made about the freedom fighter Mangal Pandey, was in a lot of discussions before its release. People also had high expectations from this film, but after its release, the film dashed everyone's expectations. Through this film, Aamir returned to the big screen after four years, but his return did not prove to be strong. This film, which came in 2005, was made with a budget of about 37 crores. But with a lifetime collection of 27.86 crores, the film was badly beaten.

In the year 2010, the film 'Dhobi Ghat' was released on 600 screens. However, even after this, the film proved to be a flop at the box office. Made under the direction of Aamir's ex-wife Kiran Rao, it was made with a budget of about 11 crores. But it did business of just Rs 18.48 crore in the entire country.

Thugs of Hindostan

There was a lot of buzz across the country regarding the multistarrer film Thugs of Hindostan. In this film released in the year 2018, actors like Amitabh Bachchan, and Katrina Kaif were seen with Aamir Khan. However, only after this, did the film prove to be a flop. The film, directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, had a total budget of Rs 310 crore. But it did a lifetime business of only Rs 176.43 crore across the country.
