Protests have started in entire Madhya Pradesh regarding actor Ajay Devgan's upcoming film Thank God. The people of the Kayastha community have complained about the actor's new film by reaching the collectorate on Wednesday. The office bearers of the society say that in the film Thank God, our adorable god Chitragupta has been displayed wrongly. He also demanded action against actor Ajay Devgn, film director, producer, and Maruti International.
In this regard, on Wednesday, a large number of Akhil Bharatiya Kayastha Mahasabha officials reached the Collectorate under the leadership of District President Pradeep Saxena and demanded action by handing over a memorandum addressed to the Union Information and Broadcasting Minister of the Government of India. The District President of the Mahasabha said that the people of the Kayastha community are angry with the mockery of their deity Chitragupta in the film Thank God. If the part which made fun of Chitragupta in the film is not removed, then the Kayastha society will agitate across the country.
Why is the film opposed?
The people of the Kayastha community have demanded to ban the film. The society alleges that Hindu beliefs have been allegedly made fun of in the film. It is alleged that Chitragupta and Yamraj have been shown in modern clothes in the film and their dialogues in the film are funny. The comments are based on the trailer of the film and there could be more such objectionable scenes and dialogues in the film. A large number of office bearers of Kayastha Mahasabha and Chitransh brothers were present on this occasion.
