Stree 2: Dinesh Vijan still has faith in the horror universe, will start 'Stree 2' despite 'Bhediya' being a flop

Producer Dinesh Vijan, once Saif Ali Khan's partner in filmmaking, has still not lost faith in the horror universe of his fantasy world. So far three films 'Stree', 'Roohi' and 'Bhediya' have been released in this fictional world. Except for the film 'Stree', the rest of the two films have not been particularly successful at the box office. But, it is heard that ignoring this, Dinesh Vijan is going to start shooting for the film 'Stree 2' in March next year to take this horror universe forward. However, actor Rajkumar Rao in an exclusive interview with Amar Ujala has said that no one from the film production company has approached him for this film.

Ever since the success of Rajkumar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor's film 'Stree', discussions have been going on about the sequel of this film. There were also reports in between that Varun Dhawan's entry has been made in 'Stree 2', not Rajkumar Rao's. Raj Kumar Rao had also given air to this news by saying that no one has approached him for this film yet. This was said by Rajkumar Rao in an exclusive interview with 'Amar Ujala' before the release of the film 'Monica O My Darling'. Although no official announcement has been made about the cast of the film yet, there is a buzz that the shooting of the film 'Stree 2' is going to start in March 2023. Aparshakti Khurana, an artist of the film, has also started its preparations.

In the last scene of Dinesh Vision's Horror Universe's Varun Dhawan starrer film 'Bhediya', Rajkummar Rao and Apar Shakti Khurana come together to find Abhishek Banerjee and call Abhishek Banerjee by the name of 'Jana' from the film 'Stree'. It was speculated that the shooting of 'Stree 2' might start soon. Not only this but Shraddha Kapoor was also seen in the song Thumkeshwari of 'Bhediya'. This song was picturized on Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon. But the film 'Bhediya' has flopped at the box office and Dinesh Vijan has dropped Varun Dhawan from his next film 'Ikkis' as well.

The film 'Stree' was released in the year 2018 and did well at the box office. The story of 'Stree' was from a place called Chanderi in Madhya Pradesh, where a witch makes only men disappear during the festival and is called Stree. The story of the film 'Stree' was written by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK.
