Atlee is going to debut in Bollywood as a director. 'Jawan' has been accused of copying the story of the Tamil film 'Perarasu'. Filmmaker Manickam Narayanan has filed a complaint with the Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) alleging plagiarism against the makers of Jawaan.

It is alleged that the story of Shahrukh Khan's film is similar to the 2006 Vijayakanth starrer 'Perarasu'. According to the Times of India report, Manickam Narayanan approached TFPC with his complaint. TFPC board members will investigate this complaint after November 7. It is reported that Manickam has the rights to the story.

In the Tamil film, Vijayakanth has played a double role, who are twin brothers. It is being told that Shahrukh Khan has a double role in 'Jawan' too. However, the makers have not confirmed anything yet. Atlee is one of the successful filmmakers of Tamil cinema. He has faced charges of plagiarism in the past as well.

Let us tell you that Jawaan will hit theaters on June 2, 2023. Apart from Hindi, the film will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. The other cast includes Vijay Sethupathi, Yogi Babu, and Priyamani. According to the report, Vijay and Deepika Padukone have cameo roles.
