The upcoming biopic 'Sam Bahadur' starring Vicky Kaushal is one of the most awaited films of this year. The actor plays the role of legendary Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw in the movie. The makers have decided to release the first song 'Badhte Chalo' on this special day.
The first song of the film 'Sam Bahadur' is 'Badhte Chalo' composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and written by Gulzar. It is going to be an inspirational song, which reflects the spirit of Sam Manekshaw and his army. As per the name of the song, it is a patriotic song and a Diwali gift for all the fans. Through this, Meghna Gulzar has declared war on every regiment of the Indian Army and has made this special song for them. 'Badhte Chalo' is set to release on Monday on the occasion of Diwali.
'Sam Bahadur', directed by Meghna Gulzar, is the story of the life and achievements of India's first and only Field Marshal, who led the country to victory in the 1971 war against Pakistan. The film stars Fatima Sana Shaikh as former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, Sanya Malhotra as Sam's wife Silu, and Neeraj Kabi as former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru.
Earlier this week, a special event for the film was held at the Manekshaw Center in Delhi, where Vicky said, 'Whenever you wear the uniform of the Indian Army, the first feeling of responsibility you feel is that you should not take it lightly. 'Sam Bahadur' is set to release in theaters on December 1, 2023. The film will clash with Ranbir Kapoor starrer 'Animal' at the box office. The film is produced by Ronnie Screwvala's RSVP Films and co-written by Meghna Gulzar, Gulzar, Bhavani Iyer, and Shantanu Srivastava. The film marks the second collaboration between Vicky Kaushal and Meghna Gulzar after the 2018 espionage thriller 'Raazi'.
