Salman Khan: There will be a fresh hearing in the defamation case against the neighbor, due to lack of time

It was not possible on Thursday to deliver the verdict on a petition filed by Salman Khan against his neighbor in a defamation case. The Bombay High Court judge said that due to paucity of time it is not possible to pronounce the order. Now another judge will hear this petition outright. Let us tell you that Judge CV Bhadang, who heard the arguments in this case and reserved his decision, is retiring on Friday.

The trial court had refused to restrain Ketan Kakkar, the owner of the land near Salman Khan's Panvel farmhouse, from posting a derogatory video against Salman Khan. The trial court had also refused to direct Ketan to remove his earlier videos from YouTube. After which Judge Bhadang reserved the matter for order on August 11 for the completion of arguments. Bhadang said that unfortunately, I am unable to complete the decision. I tried my level best, but unfortunately, there was a holiday and then administrative work and I had other tasks. I have to list this as a hearing.

Ketan recorded the activities of Salman Khan at Panvel Farm House in Mumbai and uploaded his video on social media. In this case, Salman had filed a defamation case against Kakkar in the lower court. When the civil court refused to pass any interim restraining order against Kakkar, Salman moved the high court.
