However, this has not been said officially yet. Let us tell you that Ramanand Sagar's Ramayana was telecast for the first time on Doordarshan in 1987. In this, Arun Govil played the role of Shri Ram while Deepika Chikhaliya was seen in the role of Mother Sita.
