Priyanka Chopra says, “I have spent a long time in my career where we have always been secondary to men. Where the film is to be shot, who is to be cast, and what is happening, all these decisions are made by the heroes. It's very boring. We are now in a time where women should have the right to their own life.

Priyanka Chopra said that she spoke to Alia and Katrina before Farhan Akhtar. She said, 'I was sitting at home and wanted to do a Hindi film. But, a film that is on women's terms.
Priyanka Chopra believes that the heroines of our generation have paved the way for the women of the coming generation to make films with strong storylines. He said, 'Heroines of my generation have opened doors for the next generation. I wanted to take my friends along to make a film that would do well at the box office and be ours. Hopefully, we will start shooting for 'Jee Le Zara' next year.
