Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra starrer Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue has now been released on OTT, two months after its theatrical release. Today on December 1, this film has been released on the popular streaming platform Netflix. Fans were eagerly waiting for the release of Akshay's film on OTT.

Streaming platform Netflix took to its Instagram handles some time ago to update its fans and followers about the OTT release of the film. While sharing a promo video of Mission Raniganj, Netflix wrote, 'An impossible task. a common man. An unbreakable feeling. #MissionRaniganj is now streaming on Netflix. After this, today Netflix has shared a post sharing the news of the film being streamed on OTT.

In this, Akshay Kumar is seen talking about his film Mission Raniganj. The story 'Mission Raniganj the Great Bharat Rescue' is from Raniganj in West Bengal. In 1989, during the collapse of Raniganj Coalfield in West Bengal, 65 mine workers were saved by engineer Jaswant Singh Gill who reached there with his wisdom.

Akshay has played the important role of Jaswant in Mission Raniganj. Akshay has portrayed his character brilliantly on the big screen. Let us tell you that most of the shooting of this film has been done in the towns around London. Mine sets were also made there. Later, some scenes of the film were shot in Raniganj, Dhanbad, and Mumbai.
