Major Box Office collection: South superstar Adivi Sesh's film Major has been released in theaters on Friday. The story of this film is based on Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who was martyred in the Mumbai attack. This Adivi Sesh film is getting a good response at the box office and Major is giving competition to Akshay Kumar's film Prithviraj.

The enthusiasm for this film made to the bravery of the army was already visible among the people and now after the release of the film, the fans are getting a lot of love. Major has earned a decent amount at the box office ahead of big-budget films like Prithviraj. If preliminary figures are to be believed, Major has earned around Rs 3 to 4 crore in Hindi ballot. Whereas according to trade experts, the film major has touched the figure of about 15 crores in South India.

Directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, the film Major is a biopic of Indian Army officer Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who was martyred in the Mumbai attack.
