Now the news is coming that Ajay Devgan has extended the release date of Maidaan. If reports are to be believed, many more films are releasing in February itself. This is the reason why Ajay does not want his film to be sandwiched between other films. This is the reason why he has requested to extend the release date of the film. Now Ajay Devgan's Maidan will be released in theaters on May 12.

According to the reports, Maidan is a different genre film and with its release, a lot will be seen in its collection. This can be possible only when no other film is opening with its release. Hence Ajay Devgan has requested the filmmaker to postpone the release of Maidaan to May or June. The reason for this is that not many Hindi films are released in these months.
