Akshay Kumar has shown his devotion to Lord Shiva many times. Some time ago his music video Shambhu was released, in which he also lent his voice. Before this, the actor has been seen in the role of Shiva's messenger in OMG 2.

Mother's death brought me closer to Shiva
Akshay Kumar told on the occasion of Mahashivratri that after the death of his mother, his closeness with Mahadev increased. The actor said in a conversation with Hindustan Times, "After losing my mother, my relationship with Lord Shiva has become stronger. He calms my soul and makes me realize that with death comes new life.". He is the living embodiment of Yin and Yang. There is no light without darkness and darkness without light. OMG2 came to me at the right time, this is the work of the Lord."

The actor further said, "I needed strength when I didn't even know about it. Now I wake up every day during my workout and listen to Shiva's songs. I feel his strength. I feel the strength in my life." I have confidence in the next chapter because I know it will be written by Lord Shiva."

When I saw the glory of Mahakaal
Akshay Kumar also said that during the shooting of OMG 2, he got to see the glory of devotion. The actor got a chance to go to Mahakal Temple in Ujjain for the film. The actor said, "I got acquainted with the spirit of Ujjain, the city of Mahadev, where I went to shoot for OMG 2. Everyone greeted each other with Jai Mahakal and Har Har Mahadev. No one responded without responding to it. Used to go. Ultimately Mahadev is everything and ultimately everything is found in Him only."
