Kangana Ranaut on her official Instagram handle recalled the days when her sister Rangoli Chandel was attacked by AIDS. Along with this, the actress also told the fans about her fear after this accident. Kangana said that every time a stranger passed by her, she used to cover her face.

Kangana wrote on her Instagram story, 'When I was a teenager, my sister Rangoli Chandel was thrown acid on the roadside by a Romeo... She had to undergo 52 surgeries. Not only this, but he also suffered an unimaginable amount of mental and physical trauma. We were completely broken as a family that one... I even had to go through therapy because I was afraid that anyone passing by might throw acid on me every time a bike or an I used to cover my face immediately after the car passed me. I got away from all this...But these atrocities didn't stop...The government needs to take very strong action against these crimes...I agree with Gautam Gambhir, we need to take very strong action against acid attackers There is a need to take strict steps.

Rangoli is now married and has a five-year-old son, Prithviraj. She often accompanies the actor to film events and screenings. She was 21 at the time of the attack and had suffered third-degree burns. Kangana had revealed that half of Rangoli's face was burnt, she lost vision in one eye, one ear was melted and one breast was severely bruised. Let me tell you, on Tuesday, two masked men on a bike threw acid at a class 12 student. She had left her home for school. According to reports, the girl has eight percent burns and is undergoing treatment at the burn ICU of Safdarjung Hospital.
