Farzi 2: The sequel of web series 'Farzi' will be released soon, Shahid Kapoor himself revealed

Shahid Kapoor's web series Farzi has recently been released on Amazon Prime Video. Vijay Sethupathi was also seen with the actor in this series. Shahid Kapoor has made an OTT debut through Farzi. This series has joined the list of best series of Raj and DK. Fans have liked the first series and are eagerly waiting for its season 2. Now the makers are gearing up to bring the second part of 'Farzi' and this news has been confirmed by Shahid Kapoor himself.

Recently Shahid Kapoor was present at an event where he confirmed season 2 of Farzi. Regarding this, Shahid Kapoor said, yes season 2 of Farzi will come but things take time. Because after the end of the show, its post-production takes a year. They release it in 35-40 languages and 200 countries. When the shooting will happen, the series will release after one year. So I think it will take one and a half to two years for season 2 of Farzi to come.

Apart from Vijay Sethupathi, Shahid Kapoor's series Farzi also stars KK Menon, Raashi Khanna, Bhuvan Arora, Amol Palekar, and others. This series is of 8 episodes and each episode is approximately one hour long. It is directed by the duo of Raj and DK, who has previously directed 'The Family Man' series.

Talking about the work front, Shahid Kapoor's previous film Jersey was released in the year 2022. In which he shared the screen with stars like Mrinal Thakur and Pankaj Kapur. However, the film flopped badly at the box office. Now Shahid Kapoor will be seen in 'Bloody Daddy', which is being directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.
