What is the second part of 'Dostana' going to be? Are the makers going to cast Kartik Aaryan for this film? The discussion on this question has intensified in the film corridors. Actually, after the success of Dostana, the filmmakers were preparing to bring the second part of the film with Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor. However, after a fight with Kartik Aaryan, he was shown the way out and the project was put on hold. But, the recent joke between producer-director Karan Johar and actor Siddharth has again intensified the discussion on Dostana 2.
Recently Siddharth Malhotra reached the set of the reality show 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa' in connection with the promotion of his upcoming film 'Thank God'. In Baton Hi Baton, Karan asked Siddharth about his favorite co-star, to which Siddharth took the name of Varun Dhawan. Reacting to this, Karan Johar said, 'Dostana 2' will prove to be a hit if it is made with both of you... Just this one joke of Karan started the process of rumors.
However, it is also claimed in the reports that the makers have approached Akshay Kumar for the second part of the film. It has been said in the report that if the talks between the makers and Akshay Kumar are made, then soon some special changes will be made to the script of the film, keeping Akshay Kumar in mind. However, keeping in mind the changes in the star cast of the film, the makers have started working on the script once again. The lead actress of 'Dostana 2' is Janhvi Kapoor i.e. now Akshay Kumar can be seen romancing Janhvi Kapoor. There is also a claim that the shooting of this film can start soon with Akshay's entry.
'Dostana 2' is a sequel to the 2008 film 'Dostana'. John Abraham, Abhishek Bachchan, and Priyanka Chopra were seen in the lead roles in this film. The story film was about two friends who pretend to be gay to share an apartment with a girl. However, both of them fall in love with the girl.
