Deepika spoke openly about that time in a podcast show, after which Deepika Padukone has once again come into the limelight.

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone opened up about her depression days on a podcast show by Hollywood actress Meghan Markle, who belongs to Britain's Royal Family. The actress opened up about her pain and said that people thought that her depression was fake. Deepika said on the show that people used to think of her that she is just pretending to be in depression for the promotion of her film. In this podcast of Meghan Markle, Deepika said, 'There were many people who thought that I was pretending to be depressed to promote one of my films. Even some people believed that I have taken money from a medical company to do all this. At that time many such articles were published, in which it was also said that I am going to do an ad for a medicine company.
Disease revealed in 2015
Deepika Padukone revealed her illness in the year 2015 and that she had become a victim of depression. According to the actress, her mother Ujjwala Padukone first noticed signs of depression in her. After being diagnosed with her illness, Deepika launched a foundation called 'Live Love Laugh', which aimed to spread awareness about mental health and help people who were mentally ill.
Deepika breaks the silence about Ranveer and her relationship
Before these revelations, there were reports of the separation of Deepika Padukone and actor Ranveer Singh. Some time back in a tweet it was claimed that the relationship between the two has turned sour and now both have decided to part ways. However, through a social media post, both the stars had put an end to these rumors, after which a few days ago Deepika broke her silence on the matter for the first time in this podcast. She said, 'My husband was at a music concert for a week and he has just returned. He will be very happy to see my face when he returns. This answer from the actress is enough for those spreading rumors about Ranveer and Deepika's separation. This clearly shows that the love between the two has not diminished at all.
