The trailer of Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda's action-packed crime thriller series 'Cat' has been released. In this series, Randeep Hooda will be seen playing the role of a police informer. Produced and directed by filmmaker Balwinder Singh Janjua, 'Cat' is based on the romance of Punjab and presents the story of a brother's love and espionage. Produced by Movie Tunnel Productions in association with Jelly Bean Entertainment, 'Cat' will release in Punjabi, Hindi, and English.

CAT will follow the story of Gurnam Singh who, despite taking on a new identity and moving on in life, is forced to become a police informer yet again. Although Gurnam is not new to the work of an informer, this time the difficulties are more than before. To secure his brother's future, Gurnam finds himself in a web of politics, corruption, and crime to bust a drug cartel. Are they being used for personal gain in the process? Will Gurnam be able to save his brother in this game of betrayal and deceit? Please tell that Gurnam's brother has been caught on charges of drug smuggling.

Director and Producer Balwinder Singh Janjua said, “Cat is a very unique story and I am glad that we have been able to collaborate with Netflix to bring this story to life. As a writer and director, I would define Kat as a story of relationships - be it family, friendship, or betrayal! This is a story set in Punjab, which shows two timelines. The film has been shot at more than 80 locations in Punjab to give a relatable feel to the people. I can't wait for the audience to experience it.'

Actor Randeep Hooda said, “Gurnam Singh is fierce yet calm, he is strong yet fragile and once you get to know the character, you will never guess his next move. I am excited to cast Kat and Bally (Balwinder Singh Janjua) has brought authenticity and realness to every scene.'' The series along with Randeep Hooda also stars Suvinder Vicky, Hasleen Kaur, Geeta Agarwal, Daksh Ajit Singh, Sukhwinder Chahal, KP Singh, Kavya Thapar, Danish Sood, and Pramod Pathol among others. The series will stream on Netflix from December 9 in Hindi, Punjabi and English.
