Brahmastra: 'Brahmastra' dominated among the most Googled films, 'Kashmir Files' and RRR were also defeated

After the Corona period, theaters have been ruled by small and big-budget films of the South. The audience is inclined to move towards South films more than Bollywood. In such a situation, the films of big Bollywood stars were also swept away by the storm of the South and were flopping badly at the box office. But this year's Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt starrer and Ayan Mukerji-directed film 'Brahmastra', which was released this year, proved once again that Bollywood is still alive in people's hearts. The film was a hit in the country as well as abroad. After garnering huge box office collections, the film has now overtaken South's blockbuster film 'KGF 2' as well as many other films to become the most searched film on Google.

Today Google has revealed its 'Year in Search 2022', in which we have been told about the most searched movies in the last 11 months of this year. According to this list, Ayan Mukerji's 'Brahmastra Part One - Shiva' has been in the news more than any other film. This film has left behind the big films released this year. 'Brahmastra Part One - Shiva' has topped the list of most searched movies of the year beating many other popular blockbusters like 'KGF: Chapter 2', 'RRR', 'Kantara' and 'The Kashmir Files' have achieved.

'Brahmastra' was a high-budget fantasy adventure film starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy. The film has earned over Rs 400 crore worldwide. There was a lot of excitement about the film even before its release, due to which the film was one of the most awaited films of the year. For this reason, 'Brahmastra' has been in first place in the list of most searched Indian films this year. While Ranbir starrer 'Brahmastra' has been in first place in the list, Yash starrer Kannada's blockbuster film 'KGF 2' has been in second place. The film is the highest-grossing Indian film of the year. Vivek Agnihotri's 'The Kashmir Files' has made it to the top three in the list.

Apart from KGF Chapter 2, there are four more films from the South Indian film industry on this list. These include the names of 'RRR', 'Kantara', Kamal Haasan's 'Vikram', and 'Pushpa: The Rise'. This Allu Arjun film was released last year, but it has still managed to make it to the list of most searched films in the year 2022. Not only this, this film has left behind many hit films of this year. Overall, like the box office, South Indian films have left Bollywood behind in this list as well. While five South films have made it to the top 10, only four Bollywood films are included in it. Apart from 'Brahmastra' and 'The Kashmir Files, Aamir Khan's 'Lal Singh Chadha' and Ajay Devgn's 'Drishyam 2' have also made it to the top 10.
