Being Human: Salman Khan's big step to help farmers, 25 thousand cotton farmers will get this benefit

Actor Salman Khan's Being Human Foundation is an organization that funds the education and health of the backward and poor people of India. This foundation also has its brand of clothes named Being Human, in which Being Human Foundation has partnered with Fair Trade for the cotton used in cotton clothes, which will benefit 25 thousands cotton-producing farmers.
Fair Trade is a system designed to help producers in developing countries achieve sustainable and equitable trading relationships. It links the payment of higher prices to exporters with better social and environmental standards. During an event in Mumbai, Salman Khan's sister and Managing Director of Being Human Clothing, Alvira Khan Agnihotri, spoke about Being Human's partnership with Fair Trade. And, on this occasion met cotton farmers from Karnataka and Rajasthan.
Fair Trade is an international organization that is associated with farmers. Through this organization, farmers are trained in a special way regarding their products. And, raw materials are taken from them and supplied to brands like Being Human. With this, the role of middlemen will be eliminated and farmers will directly benefit from it. Alvira Khan Agnihotri said, 'Our clothing products are made from cotton. And, we will buy cotton fabric made from cotton through fair trade, this will strengthen the economic condition of the farmers.
Alvira Khan Agnihotri said, 'The biggest problem of farmers is that they do not get the right price. In our country, most of the clothes sold are cotton. Indian farmers will benefit the most from this initiative. I think that today farmers need help the most. By eliminating the role of middlemen, they will get a fair price for their goods directly.
