Impressed by Sandeep's honesty

Anurag Kashyap does not like artificial people at all. The director says, 'For me, if there is one thing that matters the most in this world, it is honesty. Here in this industry, almost everyone pretends. They are busy showing the world what they are not. At least Sandeep does not do this. I like his honesty the most and that is why I like spending time with him.

I feel connected to him
The 'Gangs of Wasseypur director recently mentioned in his daughter Aaliya Kashyap's podcast 'Young, Dumb, and Anxious' how he was targeted by people for his film 'Dev D'. He was also given the tag of 'misogynist'. So when he saw the same thing happening with the director of 'Animal', he decided to meet him. Anurag says, 'I talked to him for five hours and I liked him so I defended him'.
