I do not want to live like a poor person in life. Angad told that at the age of 17, he realized that he wanted to become an actor, after which he went to a shop of his cousin in Defence Colony and started watching Amitabh Bachchan's films. After watching these films, Angad's inclination towards acting increased further.

During an interview, Angad Bedi told that he had cut his hair at the age of 18 to work in Bollywood, his father was so angry with this that he did not talk to him for 20 years. After this, Amitabh Bachchan reconciled both of them.
