Recently, he shared the story of his childhood, when he locked himself in the fridge. In the recent episode of KBC 16, Amitabh Bachchan told that once he locked himself in the fridge. There was no AC in the house.
Sharing his childhood story with the contestants, Amitabh Bachchan said that earlier there used to be no fancy electronic items at his house in Allahabad (Prayagraj). Regarding this, Big B said, "When we were small, there was no fridge or anything. It was just a fan, we used to wonder what this was. We used to live in Allahabad, we did not have such facilities as AC, etc. So we used to put a piece of ice in front of the table fan and run it from behind, then cold air used to come."

Amitabh Bachchan was beaten a lot.

Amitabh Bachchan further said that when a fridge came to his house for the first time, he was so excited that he locked himself in it. Big B said, "Then after a few years, a big fridge came to the house. When we opened it, we saw that it was very cold. We were a little young. One day we entered inside it. We did not tell anyone and the door got closed. It is opened from the outside, it does not open from inside. I shouted and then we came out. I was beaten a lot."
