Akshay Kumar: Has Akshay Kumar left Aanand L Rai's 'Gorkha'? The producer himself told the whole truth

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has given one hit after another, however, 2022 did not prove to be good for him and recently there were reports about his upcoming project 'Gorkha' that the actor has pulled back from it. Reports also claimed that Akshay Kumar has taken this decision after creative differences with Aanand L Rai. Now producer Aanand L. Rai himself has cleared the whole situation on this.

The film was based on 1971 war hero Major General Ian Cardozzi but reports suggested that some unit members who fought with Major Cardozzi have questioned some of his recollections of the events and Akshay Kumar has a lot of respect for the army We do. This is the reason why Akshay does not want to be a part of any such project, in which there is any kind of doubt. These things, the whole episode has now been explained clearly by the filmmaker.
As per information, speaking to a media house Aanand L Rai said, "Yes, it is true. Right now we are not making this film. There are technical issues. Factual clarification needs to be given." He further added that it would be wrong to say that Akshay Kumar has left the project. For the time being, it is clear from Aanand L Rai's talk that 'Gorkha' has been shelved for some time but it has also become clear that Akshay has not given up on the project.
It is said that during the Indo-Pak war in 1971, General Ian Cardozzi's foot fell on a landmine, after which he had his leg amputated. According to media reports, Akshay Kumar was to play the role of 1971 war hero Major General Ian Cardozzi in the film. Talk about the work front, Akshay will soon be seen in the film Selfie. Emraan Hashmi also in an important role with him in this film.
