The occasion was a gathering of about a thousand children from 54 schools in Mumbai. The children of Jamnabai Narsee School supported these disabled children from every corner of the city step by step and shoulder to shoulder. Everyone played games together. Celebrated the victory. Touched those who were defeated. And, in the midst of all this, there was a special moment when even Ajay Devgan could not help but get emotional.

This was the 19th event of its kind on the premises of Jamanbai Narsee School, a famous school for the children of film stars. Urvashi Thaker and Jairaj Thaker of Narsee Monjee Educational Trust have been organizing this event since 2002 for those special children, some of whom cannot see, some cannot hear, some have a weak bodies and some are intellectually different from other children. fell Actor Ajay Devgan, who reached the program on Tuesday, also praised this effort of gathering all these children together and encouraging them by giving them a chance to play and jump with the normal children of their school.

This day testifies to the children's hard work and their love for sports as well as their courage.' During the program, when the children of Victoria Memorial School performed the Malkhamb without worrying about the light in their eyes, the whole courtyard resounded with thunderous applause. Ajay Devgan also looked very emotional seeing this yearning of these children towards sports.

Speaking on the occasion, the founder of the event, Urvashi Thaker said that their aim from the beginning has been to create special opportunities for special children. It started in the year 2002. She says, “It gives me great pleasure to fulfill my dream of making these specially-abled children from special schools feel the joy of sports. This dream of mine is turning into reality year after year. We learn some life lessons from these events which give us a perspective to live life.

Jairaj Thaker, Managing Trustee, Narsee Monsee Educational Trust was also very emotional on the occasion. He says, “We consider it our privilege that we got a chance to be associated with this event to bring happy moments of happiness in the lives of these special children. This annual sports festival means a lot to us. Every year, during this time, we look within ourselves and try to know what other needs of these special children we can fulfill and how to make their day easier.
