Aamir will turn 60 on March 14 and before touching this figure, he wants to thank all those people of the film industry who helped him in some way or the other to reach here.

Mohammad Aamir Hussain Khan alias Aamir Khan is the son of Tahir Hussain, a veteran filmmaker of his time. His uncle Nasir Hussain was a successful film director of Hindi cinema. Cousin Mansoor Khan made Aamir's first film 'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak' as a hero and his last film 'Lal Singh Chaddha' was directed by his longtime assistant Advait Chandan. Advait is now also directing Aamir's son Junaid's film 'Loveyaapa'. Born on 24 March 1965, Aamir has been honored with Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan by the Government of India.

Aamir, who started with a child role in 'Yaadon Ki Baaraat' and played characters of different stages of life in the film 'Lal Singh Chaddha', is seen in almost every film event in Mumbai these days. Whether the film is his or not, whether he has made it or not, Aamir finds an excuse to get himself photographed smiling in front of the camera. His interest in South cinema is also increasing. And, like Shahrukh and Salman, there is a possibility that one of his films with some South cinema directors will start soon.

But, Aamir Khan has ten more excuses to make the year 2025 memorable. His family is very excited about his son Junaid's first film 'Loveyaapa' releasing in theatres. His daughter Ayra got married last year. Younger son Azad is also engrossed in his world. Aamir shares good relations with both his former wives Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao. There have also been discussions that there is a sign of a new love in Aamir's life and people may get a glimpse of it in this grand event. Years ago, an English magazine had also highlighted his love affair, in which it was said that he had a son from that love affair. Aamir had then sent a message on mobile that felt like a 'curse' to all those journalists who had made programs on news channels based on the news of that English magazine.

But, Aamir has changed a lot in recent years. Aamir, who used to be seen carrying a cigar in public events, has now stopped doing it after being questioned about it. Now Aamir wants to have such a celebration where he can forget all the complaints and become the 'Smiling Buddha' of the Hindi film industry. Aamir is not much interested in acting now. He also wants to make some films with good stories under Aamir Khan Productions with new artists and technicians. Apart from this, he has some other special plans which he can announce in this program going to be held on the eve of his birthday.
