Alia defends Ranveer

Actress Alia Bhatt opened up about her "Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani" co-star Ranveer Singh's nude photoshoot at the trailer launch event of her upcoming film "Darlings". When the actress was questioned about these pictures by a journalist, Alia defended her friend and actor Ranveer, saying, "I don't like to hear and say anything negative about my favorite Ranveer Singh. I always ask him to Love me and she is everyone's favorite artist, not just me. Ranveer has given us amazing films, so we should just give him love."

Arjun Kapoor's statement was also viral

Before Alia, actor Arjun Kapoor had issued a statement favoring Ranveer. Responding to the photo shoot, Arjun had said, 'There is no pretense in Ranveer. If you guys have known Ranveer Singh for 11-12 years, then you would also know that whatever he does is a part of his personality. Whatever they did is their choice, their social media. They do whatever they feel comfortable in. I think we should respect him.

'Darlings' to release on this day

Alia Bhatt today released the trailer of her production house's first upcoming film 'Darlings'. The film will be released on the OTT platform Netflix on August 5.
