'No one wanted to be Salman Khan's sister', why did Swara Bhaskar say such a thing on her roles in films

Although many actors have earned a lot of names on the big screen by doing such roles, there have been some who did not get many headlines. Now Bollywood actress Swara Bhaskar has also spoken big about her characters in films.

Swara Bhaskar recently spoke to the English website Mid-Day. During this, apart from his personal life, he has talked a lot about his film career. Swara Bhaskar has expressed her pain in doing rejected roles. He said that in most of the films, he has played those characters which were earlier refused to do by other actresses. She has also spoken a lot about playing Salman Khan's sister in the film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.

Swara Bhaskar said, 'I always laugh that my filmography is made up of characters who were rejected by everyone. I did all the characters that no one wanted to do. It is also interesting that the characters of my expensive films are also such that everyone else rejected them. I was the last one in Raajhna because the one who was cast for that role refused to do it at the last minute.

Talking about Salman Khan's film, Swara Bhaskar said, 'No actress wanted to play Salman Khan's sister in Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. That's why he came to me. Even in the film Veere Di Wedding, Rhea Kapoor did not understand who to cast, so I have said give me that role. Although Swara Bhaskar considers the film Nil Battey Sannata to be a very special film of her career.

He said, 'When I did this film, people told me that this film will be like suicide in my career but it is a very special film for me because it has given me recognition. Even the director of 'Anarkali of Aarah' came to me after two and a half years when everyone had refused to do it. So it doesn't matter to me. I always say that no matter what, come with everyone.' Apart from this, Swara Bhaskar did many other things.
