Drishaym 3: Mohanlal prepares to deliver a triple dose of suspense, a major update on 'Drishyam 3'

Drishyam 3 Shooting Begins
Dadasaheb Phalke Award-winning Malayalam film actor Mohanlal has begun shooting for his most popular franchise film, Drishyam 3. On Monday, he shared a photo of a puja ceremony from the set on his official Instagram handle. He is returning to his iconic role of George Kutty once again.
In the photos, Mohanlal is seen holding the film's clapboard, lighting a lamp, and performing a puja with the team. He captioned it, "Once again, George Kutty returns to the world. Today, Drishyam 3 begins with a puja." Drishyam was released in 2013. The film was so well-received that it was subsequently remade in several languages.
The Hindi film, titled Drishyam, stars Ajay Devgn as Mohanlal's character. It is also being developed as a franchise in Hindi. Now, the franchise is also set to be made in Korean, directed by Korean filmmaker Deok Noh. She previously received critical acclaim for her romantic comedy film, "Very Ordinary Couple."
Mohanlal to Receive Dadasaheb Phalke Award
The awards for the 71st edition of the National Film Awards will be presented on Tuesday, September 23rd, at Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi. Mohanlal will be honored with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award during the ceremony. His prize money for this award will be approximately 10 lakh rupees. As an actor, receiving this special honor is a significant achievement for him.
